Thanks to its inherent advantages, honing has become an indispensable machining process and is widely used in the production of various products. Moreover, after years of effort, China’s honing technology has developed rapidly, breaking the long-standing monopoly held by foreign companies.

Current honing technology has not only achieved intelligent operation but has also made significant strides in terms of efficiency and environmental sustainability. The honing process itself is highly complex, and every aspect of the equipment can affect the machining accuracy of parts. Only through repeated experimentation and parameter adjustments in practice can reliable honing accuracy be achieved. To simplify this process, the Green specialized control system is employed. Thanks to its program assistant function, relevant parameters are automatically calculated after entering only a small amount of workpiece material and tool data.

In the case of CNC sequential honing machines, a set of diamond reamers of varying diameters can be used to machine parts in order of size. Each tool performs a single reciprocating cutting action, and the final part dimensions are achieved once all tools have completed their machining. This demonstrates that sequential honing can achieve high production efficiency and excellent geometric accuracy, while also easily maintaining dimensional consistency across parts.
